Biography

Started writing as soon as I could pick up a pen and find a wall.
That didnt take long.
I scribbled some lines on a piece of co-op lined notepad
I asked my Mother what it said
she said "Nothing"

I spent the rest of my life trying to turn nothing into something.

1985- First short story published in local school magazine.

1986-2004 Working career in photography and electrical and micro electronic engineering.

2005 - First ever public appearance, 'frog and bucket' slam Manchester. Third Place.

2006 - Series of readings on North West Poetry Scene.

2007 - Slam winner Wigan Lit-fest 07

2007- Continued on North West circuit, First paid gig 'the people under the stairs' Wigan.
           Second paid gig 'Click Clack' Harrogate.
